HIAC Mother’s Day Brunch Fundraiser

If you have people in your life you want to celebrate on Mother’s Day, consider getting a brunch basket to support Hawaii Island Adult Care, Inc. This basket will be filled with a sampler assortment of scones, butter rolls, breakfast wraps, and a refreshing spring salad all prepared by the students in the culinary program at Hawaii Community College! I might have some yogurt, fruits, bacon, and Portuguese sausage on the side to make this even more of a meal! To make this even more special, this basket will be accompanied by a sweet, light, and refreshing Moscato di Asti that is being brought in specially for this brunch by my pal Ryan from Kadota Liquor. Just get some POG or orange juice or peach juice to make a yummy mimosa for your brunch! These baskets will be decorated with some arts and crafts made by the participants in the daycare program during their ceramics, sewing, crochet, collage, and origami classes.

In addition to the brunch ingredients, you’ll also have access to a concert by Grammy-nominated and multiple Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning slack key guitarist, Jeff Peterson during a LIVE concert at 11 a.m. What perfect entertainment to accompany your brunch with your loved ones.

Order your basket before it sells out! All you have to do after that is pick it up on Saturday, May 7 at the time you designate, and get it to your brunch location! 1. I’m having trouble ordering a basket for the Saturday, Mother’s Day fundraiser. I chose 8:30 a.m. as my pick-up time. Although I put in my phone number, it said it must be connected to blue tooth and it already is.
