My son runs track for Hilo High so I have been following the marks that the Big Island track athletes have been posting. I’m so proud of the performance of these athletes from the Big Island and wanted to share their achievements with you.

Our Big Island athletes are doing great. Listed below are the names of the Big Island athletes that are currently ranked in the top 10 in the State of Hawaii. (Click here to see the full list. http://www.kautech.com/results/) So many of our Big Island athletes made it to the top 10 list so early in the season! Cheer on these Big Islanders when you see them around town.
**Keep in mind that these standings are after only two BIIF events this season. Waiakea High did not participate in the first meet and so their standings are only based on participation in only one meet. You will be seeing their times/stats improve with each passing week. This is an exciting track season.
The next track meet is scheduled to be held at Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Kamuela this coming Saturday, March 25.
