The school year is starting soon at Hawaii Community College. All employees are back on campus and we were welcomed back with a breakfast buffet that included salad, fruits, yogurt, granola, sweet potato, ‘ulu, rolls, rice, scrambled eggs, pork links, and Portuguese sausage.

We started the program with a Land Acknowledgement and our new chancellor Susan Kazama led the welcoming of our new employees and celebration of employees who earned tenure and promotion as well as years of service awards. It was wonderful to see everyone in person again. Here’s to moving forward with positivity and support for a strong school year! Living Hilo Style.
