It is my wedding anniversary!

My husband and I have celebrated anniversaries at home before so being #SafeAtHome on our anniversary is not something that is foreign to us. On this particular day, I wanted to get takeout — so I wouldn’t have to cook/clean and so I could support one of our favorite local restaurants — Cafe Pesto. I looked up their website and found their takeout menu. It was easy to order in advance and pay online so all we would have to do at the time I requested is to go down to the restaurant and pick up the order.

I ordered two pasta dishes (scampi and salmon alfredo), and two pizzas (mushroom artichoke and cheese), and a Caesar salad for my family of four. My favorite dish, salmon pizzette, was not on the takeout menu so I guess I’ll have to wait until post-COVID19 to indulge in that. We enjoyed some champagne and a meat and cheese platter appetizer too. Even better, we had both our children together with us to celebrate!
