Tofu Broccoli with Sesame Oil (Dubu Muchim)

This recipe from Kimchimari came through my email inbox. I can’t believe I’ve never had it before. It is so easy and yummy! I just got a pack of Oshiro firm tofu from KTA and a package of the KTA Mountain Apple broccoli florets. I used only half of the pack of tofu and saved the other half to pop in the air fryer as another side dish. While letting the tofu drain, I boiled some salted water and added the florets to the boiling water for just about a minute. I then drained the broccoli and cooled it in cold running water. All you do after that is put the broccoli in a bowl and crumble the tofu over it. I added about 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and about 1 teaspoon of salt and tossed it together.

I topped the mixture with crushed sesame seeds and popped the dish in the fridge while it soaked up all the yummy flavors before dinner. Living Hilo Style.
