We spent a part of our winter holiday in Las Vegas last year. One awesome day began with a quick workout at the gym at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. I went back to the hotel room where my family was still lounging and we all got ready for the day. We fueled up at hotel food court where I had a Napa salad from Fudrukkers and the rest of the family ate at Sbarro.My daughter requested that we have a day of shopping.  We visited the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets where we shopped at Nike, Adidas, American Eagle, PAC Sun, and Lululemon. There were lots of people shopping the day before New Year’s Eve and some stores had a long line of people waiting just to get in the store.

After the shopping trip, we went back to the hotel, had an early dinner at Ondori at the Orleans Hotel and headed to Planet Hollywood with some friends to see Lionel Richie in concert.

We found a rare and precious parking space at Planet Hollywood and made our way to the AXIS theater and settled in for a great concert. Easy, Stuck on You, We are the World–the audience sang and danced along with Lionel throughout the concert.  What an amazing night.I was familiar with most of the songs performed and to see Lionel Richie perform live and in person was awesome.

What an awesome day we spent in Las Vegas!
