One Saturday, my daughter wanted a sandwich from Makani’s Magic Pineapple Shack.
I wasn’t quite in the mood for a sandwich and right next door is Mohala’s Bayfront Fish and Chips. It used to be called Mo’s Fish and Chips but changed their name recently.
The fresh catches of the day were ahi and ono.
I decided to go with an order of ono fish and chips. I requested the malt vinegar aioli dip that I loved. It was much more than I could finish so I took home my leftovers and shared it with my son.
While waiting for my order I scrolled through pictures on Yelp and found a photo of a salad with fish. The salad looked really good! I want to try that the next time I go there and for sure, there will be a next time. If you haven’t gone there yet, maybe you can find some time this summer. Living Hilo Style.
