Thanksgiving in Las Vegas, Day 2

Day 2 in Las Vegas was Black Friday so we woke up early and went to Trader Joe’s for omiyage shopping and pantry restocking. I hope the fun Trader Joe’s items I picked up will all fit in my luggage!

After the food shopping, we dropped off our bags at the Orleans and then headed straight to Fashion Show Mall so my daughter could get her shopping done. When we first got to the mall, it wasn’t very crowded but as the day went on, more and more people appeared. As my daughter browsed the stores, I ate some mini pretzel dogs from Auntie Annie’s to give me energy enough to make our way to the Shops at Caesar’s Palace for more shopping. We walked over 5 miles on this shopping trip.

After getting back to the Orleans, I bowled a game with my son at the alley in the hotel. It was a close game with both me and my son bowling very poorly. That got me hungry for an afternoon snack. I met my daughter at Ondori where we enjoyed the hamachi jalapeño sashimi. Living Hilo Style in Las Vegas.
