Did you know that it was Boss’s Day on Monday, October 17? How do you celebrate Boss’s Day at your workplace?
At my workplace, we celebrated on Wednesday and bought lunch for our boss from Aloha Mondays. It is convenient for us to order from Aloha Mondays because it is so hard for us to leave work for lunch. Aloha Mondays offers free deliveries for orders over $65. In fact, we ordered from Aloha Mondays last April for Administrative Professionals Day. (Click here to read about that lunch.)
When the menu came out this past Monday, we quickly scanned the offerings and ordered the following items:BBQ Baby Back Ribs with Bacon-Jalapeno-Cheddar Corn Bread and a Creamy Coleslaw ($15)
Crispy Beer Battered Fish Burrito with Cheese, Beans & Rice and Sides of: Pineapple Salsa Tahitian Lime Créme Fraiche Pickled Hawaiian Chili Pepper Red Onions ($13)
Crispy Wonton Wrapped Shrimp Salad served over Vermicelli Noodles Shredded Cabbage & Lettuce Carrots, Cucumbers & Bell Pepper Lemongrass Vietnamese Dressing ($14)
We ended the lunch with a sweet treat of a liliko’i bar ($6) and some coffee cake.
Even better than the food was the time we spent together with awesome coworkers and an even more awesome boss. Living Hilo Style.
Looks like an amazing, delicious feast for lunch. lucky boss!
