The start of the holiday season means it is also the start of the craft fair season. I am not much of a shopper but I do enjoy supporting local crafters and vendors and finding unique products.
One of my favorite craft fair vendors is Kori from Beads and Things by Kori. My friends and I visited her at the Hilo Christmas Extravaganza at the tennis stadium in Hilo. (Read about the Extravaganza here.) Kori makes fun necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. I enjoy wearing her items and always get so many compliments on her eye-catching accessories. Kori will be at the Hilo High Craft Faire this Saturday (December 3) at the Hilo High School Cafeteria. Go and visit her and say hi! There will be other awesome local crafters there–many of whom you probably know. Support local and support Hilo High PTSA! Go Vikings!I made a few other purchases at the Hilo Christmas Extravaganza–some for me and some for others. I am almost done with my Christmas shopping.
After the craft fair, we headed to Jackie Rey’s a new restaurant in Hilo where they were celebrating their grand opening that night. We enjoyed the ahi tartar appetizer and was very happy to see that Hilo was out in force to support the new restaurant in town. Living Hilo Style.
[…] I love these Adornmonde Ivo earrings. These are fun earrings that have a removable hoop. You can wear the earrings with just the vertical bar or together with the hoop. If you are feeling really edgy, you can even wear the bar on one side and both the bar and hoop on the other ear.
