Mother’s Day Extravaganza Gift and Craft Fair

On May 6, 2017, The Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC) will be partnering with Malama Pono Event, LLC for its 1st Annual Mother’s Day Extravaganza Gift and Craft Fair. This event is a fundraiser for BISAC and will feature some of the best crafters and food vendors on the island and will be held at Sangha Hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The admission fee is $2.00 (all proceeds benefit BISAC). The following vendors are just a few of who will be participating: Salti Gear Lemonade, Ahuoloa farms, Far East Trader, Toyo Hawaii, and Akua Bless Boutique.

Mothers Day Craft Fair.pngKim Sasaki of Malama Pono Events, LLC states “One of the main reasons why I continue to provide these fairs is to ensure that crafters and artists have a venue to sell their products.” The Extravaganza Craft Fairs have historically been very successful during the Christmas season. This is another opportunity during the year to experience such an amazing event with a great cause.

“I’m truly excited about this craft fair,” said BISAC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Hannah Preston-Pita. “Our craft fair will be a one-stop shop to find that perfect gift for mothers,” said Preston-Pita.

Since 1964, BISAC has been inspiring individuals and families to reclaim and enrich their lives through substance abuse counseling in a non-threatening environment. For more information about how to support BISAC’s programs contact us at bisac.org or (808)969-9994.
