We started off our last full day in Cusco, with our guide Patricia who took us to Plaza de Armas and explored the Cathedral of Cusco and Iglesia de la Compania de Jesus as well as the Temple of the Sun, Qoricancha dedicated to the sun god Inti.
I eyed up some tasty-looking chicharon as we walked around. Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped at San Pedro market for some last minute purchases and photo ops.
Right outside the market, we found a craftsman who was making personalized leather bracelets.
We must have bought over 10 bracelets from him. He was so nice!
In the afternoon, we met another chef-guide at our hotel who took us to San Pedro market where he introduced and explained even more about the foods they sell there.
We then headed to a beautiful teaching kitchen where we learned to make a rainbow trout ceviche, creamy mushroom quinoa. and of course, a pisco sour.
We ended our evening and our trip with our final Cusquena and then headed back to the hotel to pack to leave beautiful Peru. So blessed and lucky to have had this experience! Mahalo Peru!
