Circumstances came together to allow me to spend a long weekend in Las Vegas! Here is what I did on this whirlwind weekend.

Friday: Checked in to Nobu Hotel at Caesar’s Palace, ate a Nobu menu room service breakfast, and then take a nap. After the nap, I took my daughter walking/shopping at Forum Shops at Caesar’s where we met Jerry Rice and got his autograph. He is the nicest guy! Later that evening, we attended a James Taylor concert (and got his autograph!) with some friends and then had an amazing post-concert dinner at Nobu. After dinner, we visited with more friends downtown and I finally got to try the oxtail soup from California Hotel.

Saturday: My daughter was up for more shopping at North Premium Outlets. After we got back, I had lunch from The Halal Guys at the food court at Forum Shops. I usually only get to eat this when I go to NYC so I was happy to see that it was at our hotel. After the long day/night the day before, I needed a nap. After I got up, I worked out so I could enjoy my dinner at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand.

This trip was all about music, food, and fun times. Living Hilo Style in Vegas.
