It’s our last day in Japan. We woke up and made it to Nijo Seafood Market where we had delicious sushi for breakfast.
I took the group to the same restaurant that I had been to on my last visit. After breakfast, we headed to Susukino for some shopping to pick up last minute omiyage. We found the 5-story Daiso and did a little more 100-yen shopping. Misty and I found a lemon juice spray device there that we purchased. You can find it at Daiso for a very good price, but if you don’t have one near you, Amazon has it too.
After shopping, Misty and I headed to Ramen Yokocho where we found Aji no Karyu where Anthony Bourdain once ate.
We enjoyed our last ramen in Japan before heading back to the hotel to pack up and head to the airport. At the airport, Misty and I squealed in delight when we saw Pali Kaaihue of DokoGa TV fame. We were thrilled to have this celebrity sighting! He was escorting a Maui girls softball team during their visit to Hokkaido.
We all made it home safely along with our omiyage and totally enjoyed our trip to Hokkaido! Living Hilo Style in Hokkaido!
