Some friends and I visited Miyo’s one evening to chat about everything under the sun. The server shared the specials of the day and the one that caught my attention was their appetizer platter. In fact, even before heading into the restaurant, I crossed paths with a friend who was just leaving and had mentioned how much she loved the appetizer sampler to us. So, when the server said the plate had agedashi tofu, sautéed eggplant, fried opakapaka, and a choice of sashimi or poke, we were sold. I think this is something I would order for my meal every time I visit Miyo’s.
On this visit, I ordered a yummy tempura donburi for my dinner. It is a great homestyle dish that I wouldn’t make for myself at home. Living Hilo Style.
