Late post — The holidays were busy!
This last day in Las Vegas started with a horseback riding tour in Red Rock Canyon. The tour we took through Cowboy Trail Rides included a pick-up at our hotel so it was very convenient. My horse was named Beauty, my daughter’s horse was named Smokey, and my son’s horse was aptly named Vegas. Since we were amateurs, the wranglers assigned the slow horses to us, I think. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery on an amazingly beautiful day.

After our horseback-riding adventure, we had a quick bite and freshened up, and then headed out to our first hockey game! I love attending professional sporting events to experience the energy at these events. The arena was beautiful and I could fulfill my Shake Shack fix there. Unfortunately, the Vegas Golden Knights didn’t win this game but I think I’ll be back to see a win one day.

After the game, we got another quick bite to eat and then packed up for our morning flight back home. I enjoyed this quick family Thanksgiving getaway. Living Hilo Style in Las Vegas.
