I had a ready-to-eat avocado and a package of prosciutto in my fridge. I was invited to a friend’s house and was trying to decide what to bring. I did a Google search for avocado prosciutto and found Platings + Pairing recipe for a prosciutto wrapped avocado appetizer drizzled with balsamic glaze. I was happy to have the balsamic glaze in my pantry too! This is the kind of recipe I like. No cooking involved. I decided to toast some bread with olive oil and layer the avocado and prosciutto on each slice.
Drizzle the glaze over the slices and that’s it! Living Hilo Style.
