It doesn’t always work out but this time it did. Deaner was in town and I had time to meet up with him! A few friends joined me in enjoying some time with my fellow Kalanianaole Cougar and Hilo High Viking classmate. We started at The Temple Bar and partook in some martinis, bubbles, and yummy bites.

We didn’t have enough time with each other so we visited Aunty Yong’s for a few more sips and bites before saying goodbye until the next time we get together.

By the way — the corned beef hash patties at Aunty Yong’s are delicious! I need to try this recipe from Misty’s MIL and see if it compares. Living Hilo Style.
