I’m sure you know Moon and Turtle is one of my favorite restaurants in the world! I had plans to go with a friend of mine but plans changed at the last minute, so my husband lucked out and could join me at dinner tonight.

Before heading down, I looked at the menu on Facebook, and today, I was excited to see a Horseradish Martini, a cocktail with horseradish-infused vodka and olive juice. It sounds like something I’d love. It is an umami drink with a kick!

We had our favorite smokey sashimi! We also ordered the ahi belly piccata, truffle mushroom risotto, and french onion soup wontons. And of course–we ended with a delicious affogatto! Living Hilo Style.
