Saturday — Downtown and White Guava Cafe

I have been having trouble with my Apple Watch 4. My battery drains more quickly than it should, my exercise minutes record way more than it should (I even get exercise minutes for brushing my teeth), and if I am listening to my podcasts, my battery goes from 100 percent to 10 percent in about 20 minutes. I contacted Apple support and they sent me to Mac Made Easy. I showed up and found out since my watch is out of warranty, it would cost $300 to repair.

One great thing I found out with that visit is that there is a new Vietnamese Restaurant in that strip mall. I can’t wait to try it. Since I was in the downtown area, I decided to stop at the farmer’s market to pick up some veggies and was happy to run into one of my besties.

After those errands, I stopped at White Guava Cafe in the old Pizza Hut outside KTA Puainako for lunch. When we sat down, we got a vegetable soup that is part of the service and was a nice surprise on this rainy afternoon. I ordered the Korean chicken plate. It was crispy and delicious and there was enough for me to take home to share my leftovers with my husband. He liked it too. There was also some leftover lilikoi chiffon pie that he really enjoyed. Living Hilo Style.
