Lori visits Hilo every new year. We started teaching together at Waiakea High School so many years ago and have remained friends ever since. We found time to get together for lunch with Michelle and Tina and decided to go to Cafe Pesto. It’s a good thing we had reservations because it was busy on this eve of the eve of the new year. Even though we don’t get together often, it was just like old times as we enjoyed our lunch.

Tina and I both ordered the Caesar salad. I love their salad since it comes with Gorgonzola cheese. I also included shrimp on my salad. Cafe Pesto is always a solid choice for lunch or dinner. We walked around after lunch and enjoyed seeing the kids and some artwork. Living Hilo Style.
