Have you been hearing about trips to Japan that your friends are taking? Are you salivating over the foods they are eating? Do you wish you could try some authentic Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki? You have a chance to have some Japanese food in Hilo! In addition to okonomiyaki, you can enjoy taiko music and origami crafts on Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in front of the HawCC cafeteria.
Tickets for okonomiyaki are available at the Information Center on the Manono campus (Building 378) for only $5 with the proceeds helping Hawaii Community College students participate in a cultural study abroad program at Hiroshima University of Economics.
