Over the Christmas holiday I went to Jackie Rey’s Happy Hour again. I didn’t have a drop of alcohol, but I sure ate a ton of delicious things. These are the top 3 things I always like to order:

#3 Bowl of Edamame – it’s garlicky and yummy and easy to pick on.

#2 Hummus and Pita Bread – a semi-healthy dish, I’m amazed they only charge $5 for this! The hummus is classic and flavorful, but the pita triangles are the star to me.

#1 Kalua Pig Spring Rolls – the kalua is wrapped into spring rolls and deep fried. It’s served with a sweet chili dipping sauce that we love. We usually order more than one of these.

All of the items above are $5 each from 3:00-6:00 pm M-F. During happy hour they also have discounted meals. My family likes the Tillamook cheeseburger and fish tacos, but I stick to the $5 menu.
