#OnlyEasy–props to Misty I!
Yup. You read that right: Cookie. As in singular. Just one.

But this singular cookie is singular in ease and taste. And if the people you are staying at home with are nice to you, there is *probably* some to be shared.
Ingredients AND instructions:
MIX
- 2 TB butter
- 2 TB sugar
- 2 TB brown sugar
ADD
- 2 TB egg (beat 1 egg then measure out)
- and then MIX
ADD
- 2 TB p.b. (I used the Kirkland organic creamy pb)
- 7 TB flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- and then MIX
- Add chocolate chips to your heart’s content.
Make one mound in the center of a cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 20 mins.
A childhood friend of mine posted some delicious chocolate chip cookies on Instagram (which I might share with you, too). Given the current crisis, I feel that the rules of posting food must change. Whereas before you all showed your cooking and baking prowess over which we could all oooh and aaaah, now that we’re all home too it’s just an act of civic duty to share the recipe! For those of us who could only be voyeurs before, now we have the time and inclination to at least try.

And so it was in that spirit that I asked my friend to share her chocolate chip cookie recipe. Once I made those and proved that her sharing was not in vain, she shared this very simple, very ono recipe with me, too. And now I pay it forward! Let me know if your cookie came out as soft, savory and comforting as mine!
