FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (November 23, 2020 | Hilo, Hawaii)
Just in time for this year’s holiday shopping season, ThinkLocalBuyLocal.org, in partnership with the Downtown Hilo Improvement Association, Kamaʻāina Directory, and Recycle Hawaii, present two days of conscious shopping to encourage residents and visitors to invest in our community by supporting locally owned, independent businesses during the holidays.
Starting Black Friday on November 27 and running through Shop Small Saturday on November 28,
participating Downtown Hilo businesses will be offering deals, discounts, and specials on an incredible variety of unique, locally made gifts appealing to all ages, interests, and tastes. Come and visit your favorite stores and restaurants, discover new ones, and make your holiday shopping easy and fun!
As an important reminder, all stores will require customers to wear masks, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing to keep our community and kūpuna safe from COVID-19.
