Recently a few of us went to Waimea and treated ourselves to Merriman’s for dinner. Our group decided to try the “Shared Dinner” option and indulged in many of Peter Merriman’s classics. All of the dishes are served family style. Instead of describing each dish, I’ve linked the Merriman’s Waimea dinner menu here. Scroll all the way down for the “Shared Dinner” description.

Merriman’s doesn’t mess around when it comes to pūpū, all of these came with our dinner! I especially enjoyed the classic Caesar salad with fried green tomatoes and house-made spaetzle.

They also have wine flights,and bring it to your table like this, so cool!

By the time the mains came around I was kinda full, but we managed.

Although two desserts came with dinner, we couldn’t resist ordering their signature “chocolate purse” to cap off the evening!
