If you need dinner on the table fast and you have these ingredients on hand you may want to consider making this. My sons liked it, but hey… they eat anything! Maybe your kids will like it too.
3 lbs. chicken pieces, defrosted (boneless skinless is fastest but I only had bone-in thighs and wings)
3 Tbsp. butter
2 C. bottled barbecue sauce
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. garlic powder
- Add everything to the pot and bring to a boil. Turn down and simmer for 20 minutes or until a thermometer registers 165 degrees.
- If you use bone-in thighs as I did you will need to mix it every few minutes so that the chicken doesn’t burn.
- Microwave some frozen veggies and you have a quick weeknight dinner.
That’s it, only easy!
