My husband visited our Sig Zane Designs in Hilo this morning in search of more of his favorite aloha shirts from his favorite local designer.While he was there, he had the opportunity to chat with none other than Sig Zane who told him about an exclusive new product–the Hilo Hurley Hat!

“Kaulana o Hilo Hanakahi” is a poetic expression for our hometown. Once ruled by the aliʻi Hanakahi, the crescent shaped bay is famous for Kamehameha’s Peleleu canoe fleet and its black sand beach. The new moon, a crescent shape, is also known as Hilo.

We celebrate Hilo with our long time partner, @hurley International, to create our exclusive Hilo Hurley Hat! Playing on their iconic logo, it references the new moon and crescent shape of Hilo Bay.
